Tim and Liza Goodell have long sought the perfect location for their second Red Pearl Kitchen, and they found it in the heart of the Historic Gas Lamp District of San Diego.
Their original Red Pearl Kitchen was a mainstay of the Huntington Beach dining scene for 6 years and like the Orange County location, the new San Diego restaurant combines authentic Chinese/East Asian recipes with a hip, contemporary bar scene. The menu, combined with the full bar and overall design gives it a vibe that is glamorous, exotic and sexy.
In addition to serving great food and drinks, the Red Pearl Kitchen is an active participant in the exciting Gas Lamp District revival, and a great destination for the local community.

Tim and Liza Goodell, proprietors of such landmark restaurants as Dakota and the Red Pearl Kitchen concept are proud to present 25 Degrees (the name refers to the temperature difference between a medium rare and well done burger), a new twist on the local burger joint.
25 Degrees has a playful “Bordello meets Burger Bar” attitude. The walls are adorned in black and chrome mirrored tile, surrounded by rich textured fuchsia wallpaper. Lush oxblood leather booths wrap around half moon shaped wooden tables and Flat Screen televisions line the wall behind the bar of this Moulin Rouge style diner.
Featuring Chopped Sirloin Beef Burgers and Turkey Burgers, 25 Degrees also offers a distinctive and unique selection of domestic and imported cheeses. Also on the menu will be a wine list that will include over 50 domestic and imported wines offered by the half-bottle ranging in price from $12 to $68. The selection will include featured wines from Stags Leap, Fiddlehead, Chateau Montelena, Duck Pond Cellars and Veuve Cliquot.
With locations on Hollywood Boulevard inside the famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Hotel G located in Beijing China, and the CityNorth Center in Phoenix Arizona, 25 Degrees is not just another spot to grab an ordinary burger.
